Thank you for your interest in applying to join the Youth Mental Health Academy (YMHA) at the Child Mind Institute!
This is the STUDENT application for high school students.
If you are an undergraduate student, graduate student, or early career professional, please apply to the MENTOR application in early November 2024.
YMHA supports the early career interest and development of high school students from structurally marginalized groups who have an interest in mental health and related fields.
If accepted into the program, you will participate in academically enriching activities such as project-based learning, capstone presentations, college and career readiness workshops and a hands-on internship. Your experience in the program can help you develop professional, interpersonal and life skills, build professional networks, and consider a future career in the field of mental health
Application Deadlines:
Priority Deadline will be January 15, 2025
Final Deadline will be March 31, 2025
All applications received after the deadline will be put on a waitlist
Acceptances:
Acceptances will be sent on a rolling basis.
All applicants who apply by March 31, will be notified by May 1, 2025
Waitlist applicants will be notified by May 15, 2025
